Personal Accident & Contingency Claims Committee
The Personal Accident & Contingency Claims Committee (PACCC) was set up in mid 2012 to provide a forum for discussion of common issues and concerns in the PA (and subsequently Contingency) market. Whilst this committee no longer meets on a regular basis, it is available to be stood up in response to any market requirement. In that regard, please contact the LMA if there is any area that would benefit from the market getting together to talk through.
Role of the Group
The role of the PACCC is to:
- take the lead to identify and investigate personal accident or contingency related issues with an objective of producing solutions for the benefit of this market and the market in general
- initiate projects or sub groups where appropriate to address specific issues
- advise and provide feedback to the LMA Claims Committee where identified issues have a wider implication to the market.
Committee meetings
The Household Claims Committee will be stood up on an ad-hoc basis, as the need arises.
