LMA Response to COVID-19

The LMA has set out a ‘Work From Home’ Business Continuity Plan from Tuesday 17 March until further notice. While the office is closed, the LMA is still open for business and operating as close to usual as possible.

We wanted to update you on the decisions the Lloyd’s Market Association has taken regarding the impact of COVID-19 on our day-to-day operations, events and committee meetings:

  • Business As Usual - From Tuesday 17 March, LMA offices will be closed, but we are still open for business. We have asked all of our LMA staff to work remotely.
  • Academy programmes - All Academy training Programmes scheduled to take place between now and the end of July have been postponed. We have informed all registered delegates. You may still express an interest in any of our training courses and we will contact you once details become available.
  • LMA Events – most events have been either cancelled or postponed, but some may still be taking place via video conference. Please check the LMA events page for latest details.
  • Committee and ad-hoc meetings - From today, Friday 13 March, all LMA meetings will be hosted via conference call, video conference or a combination of the two.

We recognise that this is a different way of working - we are fully equipped and prepared to continue working as close to usual as possible with the London Market. If you have any questions, please contact any member of the LMA team.
