US Surplus Lines Notice updates

Following updates to regulatory requirements in the states of Arizona, Iowa, US Virgin Islands and Wyoming, the LMA has updated and republished (with updated LMA clause references) the corresponding model state surplus lines, as follows:

  LMA9027A - Arizona Surplus Lines Notice - becoming LMA9027B
 

LMA9047 - Iowa Surplus Lines Notice - becoming LMA9047A

  LMA9081 - US Virgin Islands Surplus Lines Notice - becoming LMA9081A 
  LMA9090 - Wyoming Surplus Lines Notice - becoming LMA9090A

 

To assist the market, the LMA has also released an updated listing of all US Surplus Lines Notices and Ancillary Clauses that have been published by the LMA to date, which can be accessed here.

These model notices are available on the Lloyd’s Wordings Repository (LWR), which can be accessed via www.lloydswordings.com. Please note that the now outdated versions of these notices have now been moved to “archive” status on the LWR.

The Lloyd’s International Regulatory Affairs team (LIRA) has updated the “Notice to the Insured” field under the “Insurance Documentation” section on Crystal for each of the affected states, to reflect these updates.
