Cyber Clauses for use in conjunction with Contingency Risks

In order to satisfy Lloyd’s Bulletin 5277 - providing clarity for Lloyd’s customers on coverage for cyber exposures - the LMA Contingency Business Panel has published a suite of model cyber clauses:

LMA5430 Cyber Exclusion (For use in conjunction with Contingency Risks)
LMA5431 Limited Cyber Extension No. 1 (For use in conjunction with Contingency Risks)
LMA5432 Limited Cyber Extension No. 1 (For use in conjunction with Contingency Risks)

These clauses utilise the terminology adopted in other LMA cyber clauses that have been published in order to assist the market in meeting the Lloyd’s requirement.

LMA5430, LMA5431 and LMA5432 are model clauses. As with all LMA model clauses, they are purely illustrative and are distributed for the guidance of LMA members, who are free to agree to different conditions or amend as they see fit. These clauses are available on the Lloyd’s Wordings Repository (LWR), which can be accessed via www.lloydswordings.com.

Any queries regarding these model clauses should be referred to the LMA.
