DESCRIPTION

The LMA in conjunction with the Cyber Business Panel produced a set of war clauses for use in the cyber wordings in December 2021. 

Our speakers Julian Miller, Partner, DACB, Patrick Davison, Underwriting Director, LMA, Jon Bateman, Cyber Policy Initiative, Carnegie Institute, Matthew Webb, (Chair of LMA Cyber Business Panel) Cyber Line Underwriter, Hiscox, Ben Maidment, Head of Global Cyber, Privacy & Technology, Brit Insurance and Neil Arklie, Head of Cyber underwriting, Lloyd's will discuss in depth the reasons, the rationale, the legal basis, challenges and specifically the new concepts introduced through the clauses.

Attendees will be provided with a full explanation and insight into the design and reasoning behind the cyber war clauses which will help them explain the benefits to clients.
