Travelling scholarship for emerging claims talent in Financial Institutions Professional Indemnity Insurance
The Lloyd's Market Association is committed to supporting the career development of emerging talent in Financial Institutions Professional Indemnity Insurance amongst LMA members.
We are pleased to be working in association with leading Australasian insurance law firm Wotton + Kearney (W+K) to introduce an annual travelling scholarship, recognising outstanding emerging claims talent in our industry and providing the successful candidate with a unique educational experience aimed at enhancing their professional career. Funded by W+K, the scholarship recipient will receive £5,000 to attend the 2024 Australian Professional Indemnity Group Annual Conference in Sydney, Australia in September and a hosted visit to W+K’s Sydney Head Office.
There are also excellent personal profiling opportunities, with the winner sharing their experiences with other LMA members and the market.

How to apply
Provide a written submission (no longer than 600 words) or short video (no longer than 3 minutes) addressing:
- what you see is a major issue for your area of insurance and how it could be resolved, and
- in a few words, what makes you proud to work in the financial lines and professional liability insurance industry in London.
