Cyber Exclusion (for use on Accident & Health and Travel policies)

The LMA Personal Accident Business Panel has published a model cyber exclusion, for use with Accident & Health and Travel Policies:

LMA5433 – Cyber Exclusion (for use on A&H and Travel policies)

In order to satisfy Lloyd’s Bulletin Y5277 - Providing clarity for Lloyd’s customers on coverage for cyber exposures – the Personal Accident Business Panel had previously published a suite of clauses for use on A&H and Travel policies, LMA5414 – LMA5425 inclusive. They have now published this exclusion, drafted for use on consumer risks, to add to the suite of model clauses. Such models clauses are illustrative and are distributed for the guidance of LMA members and the market generally. Market participants are free to agree to different terms or amend as they see fit.

The suite of clauses is available on the Lloyd’s Wordings Repository (LWR), which can be accessed via www.lloydswordings.com.

Any queries regarding this endorsement should be referred to the LMA.
