LMA Academy

The aim of the LMA Academy is to raise the profile of education in the Lloyd's market. This is delivered through a series of technical training programmes that support LMA members’ learning and career development by offering them a thorough understanding of key insurance areas from Foundation through to Advanced level.

In 2018, the Academy ran 45 events attended by over 7,500 market practitioners. The demand for technical training grows year on year and we are pleased to be the leaders in the delivery of bespoke technical training for the managing agency community.

In July 2017 the LMA Academy won the "Investing in the Profession" award at the British Insurance Awards, the largest insurance awards in the UK, which is a great achievement and something we are very proud of.
