Joint Motor Underwriting Committee
The Joint Motor Committee considers matters relating to the UK motor market as a whole and is also the parent of a number of joint motor sub-committees and working parties. The primary activity of this Committee is to formulate the views of the Lloyd’s Motor and MUA membership in relation to various subjects of relevance to the market.
In particular the committee gives strategic direction to the LMA regarding market work undertaken with the ABI Motor Committee and its subsidiary committees.
The committee includes underwriting representatives from LMA Members currently active in the UK motor insurance market, and representatives of MUA members. Committee membership is normally at Active Underwriter or Portfolio Director level.
The Committee meets on a quarterly basis. Click here for a list of current Terms of Reference.
