LMA Academy Committee

The LMA Academy Committee seeks to raise the profile of education in the Lloyd's market. It actively engages with LMA members, the Corporation of Lloyd's, the Chartered Insurance Institute and other professional bodies including leading universities, to ensure that the technical educational needs of the market are identified and met.

The committee membership reflects the market with representatives from underwriting, claims and senior management together with learning and development specialists from the LMA membership. The committee is currently chaired by Matthew Wilson, CEO, Brit. 

LMA Academy sub-groups

Two sub-groups have been established to support the LMA Academy Committee: A Learning & Development sub-group and a Young Professionals sub-group. The roles of the two sub-groups are to review the LMA Academy’s current programme offering, identify any gaps and provide input into future programmes to ensure that the Academy offering continues to remain relevant to managing agents and programmes are well supported.
