Janice Benning, Consultant and Trainer, BiteSize Learning, Co-founder an Director of NeuroVitality Clinic and Director of Reclaim Health
Want to discover the facts behind the hype and explore how mindfulness can help you operate at your best?
Operating in a world of work that is increasingly volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA), we need to be able to function at the top of our game. We need to be resilient, able to think laterally, to juggle varied demands and schedules, to collaborate and work effectively with others and be able to slow down enough to make clever decisions. In short we need to be able to operate effectively under pressure. Mindfulness practices and principles provide a set of tools and techniques that enable you to do just that.
In this short, lively session Janice explains the facts behind what mindfulness is, and what it isn’t, and explores how and why it works. This session will cover:
- The background and benefits of mindfulness
- The science that underpins it
- The principles and practices of mindfulness
- Mindfulness in the world of work.
