DESCRIPTION

The Exposure Management Working Group (EMWG) would like to invite you to an event on - Impacts of Climate Change: Future and current methods of modelling.

Dr Andrew Smith, Chief Operating Officer, Fathom will be joined by the following panel to discuss the recently published paper on ‘Kilometre-scale’ Climate models:

• Professor Dame Julia Slingo FRS, Former Met Office Chief Scientist
• Professor Tim Palmer, Royal Society Research Professor, Oxford Martin Institute
• Professor Albert Klein Tank, Director of the Met Office Hadley Centre for Climate Science and Services.

Our speakers Dr Joss Matthewman, Director of Climate Change, RMS, Dr Peter Sousounis, Director of Climate Change, Verisk, Emma Watkins, Head of Exposure Management, Lloyd's will then look at how insurers can currently measure and predict climate risks.
