Conflicts of interest for insurers arise in a variety of guises from insuring both parties to a dispute, to having multiple involvements in different parts of a large (re)insurance programme, and many other scenarios besides. 

How to deal with conflicts of interest within an insurer, or group of insurers, can present significant challenges.
