Insurance Act 2015 coverage flow chart for insurers

The Insurance Act 2015 (the Act) comes into effect in just four weeks' time and applies to policies which renew, incept or are varied on or after 12 August 2016. The Act introduces a new regime for coverage issues and for remedies available to insurers. As such, in undertaking coverage investigations claims handlers will need to check whether the Act applies to the policy under consideration.
