Associations' Administration Committee

The Associations’ Administration Committee (AAC) provides collective governance for the Insurers’ Market Repository (IMR) on behalf of customers.  In this role AAC reports to LMA and IUA.  AAC also manages process change programmes on behalf of LMG.

The AAC is chaired by Mark Chapman of Global Aerospace and managing agents are represented by Steve Flood (Beazley), Colin Smith (ProSight) and Michael Harris (R J Kiln).  LMA representation is provided by Rob Gillies.

The AAC is responsible for:

  • ensuring that the strategy and direction for the IMR service aligns with other modernisation activity in the London insurance market, including that of the London Market Group and the London Market Claims Strategy Group
  • managing the priorities between Accounting and Settlement (A&S) (through the ASUG) and Electronic Claims File (ECF) (through the ECFUG) requirements, and other actual or potential uses of the IMR service
  • liaising with the IUA, LMA, LIIBA and other market organisations regarding any potential changes to business practices arising from the adoption of the IMR service.
