1 May 2012, London SE1 2AF
The LMA’s Lloyd’s Market Academy is pleased to invite LMA Full Members to apply to attend the workshop described below.
- Time: 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. (8.30am for coffee)
- Date: Tuesday 1 May 2012
- Venue: Offices of Ernst & Young LLP, 1 More London Place, London SE1 2AF (Close to London Bridge Station, near HMS Belfast)
The event: This training day is suitable for underwriting, claims or agency management (including finance, accounting and risk management) personnel and will provide crucial insights into what it takes to run an insurance company (comparable to a Lloyd’s Syndicate). Training will be delivered throughout a facilitated one-day event, featuring Ernst & Young’s interactive Hazard® simulation programme. Hazard® is Ernst & Young’s interactive general insurance market training programme for insurance professionals.
Content: Hazard® is dynamic, challenging and features team-based competitive play, which not only facilitates learning but also represents a great networking opportunity. Attendees take on the role of running a virtual insurance company in a simulation of the competitive UK general insurance market.
With its emphasis on networking and interaction/team working, this workshop has been designed to develop technical knowledge and to enhance behavioural skills.
Applications: Because this event is 50% funded by the LMA’s Training & Education Trust, a fee of £250 + VAT per attendee will be invoiced to applicants who secure a place or places on this one-day workshop.
To secure a place, or places, please contact my Secretary, Louise Maisey: by phone: 020 7327 4938 or by e-mail: louise.maisey@lmalloyds.com.
