Claims Service Review Board (CSRB)

All Managing Agents have signed a contract with Xchanging Claims Services (XCS) for the supply of claims processing and adjusting services by XCS. Market governance of this contract is through the Market Processes Committee (MPC) which delegates authority to monitor and manage the contract to the Claims Service Review Board (CSRB).  

The Board meets on a monthly basis and is Chaired by Philip Nastri, Brit. 

Membership comprises of one member of the MPC, three Members of the LMA community, a representative of the Head of Sector Group, two members of the Lloyd’s Performance Management Directorate.  XCS also represented on the Board.

Key issues

  • Negotiating pricing for 2013
  • Amending services in accordance with the Claims Transformation Programme pilot
  • Auditing application of Claims Agreement for Followers (CAF)
  • Process review to identify efficiency and improvements
  • Evaluating impact of Solvency II and take appropriate action
  • Improving performance via strict Service Level Agreements

The role of the Board is to:

  • Ensure the services described in the Services Agreement are delivered in accordance with market expectations
  • Monitor the costs and performance of the services
  • Review monthly performance reports and take appropriate action
  • Agree areas of the services that require investment
  • Agree pricing structure
  • Agree strategic implementation plan and agree deliverables for XCS
