The Underwriting section of the LMA Website covers the activities of the LMA Underwriting Committees and Business Panels, along with cross-market Committees and Business Panels covering underwriting activity

LMA Underwriting Committee

The LMA Underwriting Committee has representation drawn from each of the main sector underwriting committees, along with additional members drawn from the LMA Membership.

The vast majority of underwriting issues are dealt with by the individual Business Panels and Committees, with activities co-ordinated by the main sector committees and the LMA Executive. However, The Underwriting Committee acts as a forum for discussion of high-level cross market underwriting issues. Two representatives from the Underwriting Committee serve as Underwriting representatives on the LMA Board.

LMA Underwriting Team

The underwriting committees and panels at the LMA are handled by a team of Technical Executives with extensive experience from the London insurance market, covering Lloyd’s, the London company market and the broking community.

Each Technical Executive within the team has responsibility for a range of panels, the relevant contact details are shown on each Committee/Panel page.
