LMA Personal Accident Committee appoints Ranzetta and De Vido

Stephen Ranzetta and Paul De Vido have been elected to the Lloyd’s Market Association’s (LMA) Personal Accident Committee, following a recent ballot at Lloyd’s.

Paul, senior class underwriter, A&H at XL Catlin and Stephen, class underwriter, A&H at Vibe Syndicate Management have been elected to serve for a five year term. Charlie Boyd, Senior Underwriter, Ark Syndicate Management continues in the role of chairman.

The Personal Accident Committee leads on a wide range of issues affecting Lloyd’s managing agents and syndicates on behalf of the Lloyd’s market. Its priorities for the year ahead include:

  • US Affordable Care Act, including Expat Health Plans
  • review of personal accident wordings that include cyber risks
  • Conduct Risk
  • concussion injuries.

David Powell, Head of Non-Marine, LMA said: “I am pleased to welcome Stephen and Paul to the LMA Personal Accident Committee. Their expertise will be a valuable addition to the number of highly knowledgeable and experienced senior market practitioners who already serve on the committee.”

Stephen Ranzetta and Paul De Vido take their places on the committee, in addition to their roles at Vibe and XL Catlin respectively, with immediate effect.
